STREET BEAT builds on the brass-based music of various ethnic traditions — namely Shout (Gospel), Banda (Mexican), and Klezmer.  Fairbanks has taken standard melodies from each of these tradition’s songbooks and arranged them in the band’s unique, urban and energetic vibe.  The flexible 5-piece format of trumpet, sax, trombone, sousaphone, and percussion is completely acoustic and mobile enough to play any type of event, such as strolling, parades, and processionals, as well as parties, concerts, church services, and other venues.  Below click links to our demo tracks, as well as view Gospel videos.
