Yes. Fairbanks Music is a member of the online business review company RatePoint.com, which independently collects and verifies reviews written by its members' clients. There is a link to this in the "Audio Services" page, or you may view our RatePoint profile directly here. While we have been in business for years, we still have relatively few RatePoint reviews as of yet due to the fact that we recently became a RatePoint member.

This depends on the job requested. Generally smaller jobs such as transposing and transcribing take 1-2 days, while composing and arranging can vary more depending on the scale of the project, from days to weeks, or months for a large scale commissioned work.

Each job is different, so prospective clients should contact us for a free, non-binding quote. For some types of work, however, you can expect the quote to be based upon a 'base rate', which may be increased in some situations. Such work includes: transposing ($0.35 x # of measures x # of staves); transcribing ($30-35 x # of minutes of source audio track). Composing, arranging, orchestrating, and other services are negotiated based on each individual situation. Generally, 'bulk' orders of multiple songs will help reduce the cost. Also, due to the amount of setup time required for any new job, a there is a minimum price of $50 per song.
